About Us

Boombacha Kombucha is a lightly carbonated, fermented, tea beverage.

We start with the highest quality green tea, add sugar*, and give it time to ferment. Each batch typically ferments for 3 weeks in our small 500 sq ft brewery located in the Limelight District, northeast of downtown Sarasota.

After the fermentation process is complete, we add the flavor. Using fruit juices, tea, and spices, we carefully craft each flavor combination to bring you the best product we can. We perform rigorous quality control processes to make sure you’re getting exactly what we say we’re offering. You’ll never hear us tout a benefit that we can’t back up!

*Did you know sugar is a vital component for this fermentation process? Every kombucha you enjoy has sugar present to feed the the bacteria & yeast which give it the tangy, funky flavor we love about them. In kombucha, the SCOBY (symbiotic colony of bacteria & yeast) is a live culture that changes sugar into bright, sour flavor and makes sure that the drink doesn’t go bad!
